Launched in 2014 at Asi Ghat, Varanasi, this daily gathering before sunrise reflects the timeless spirit of India. The morning comes alive with Vedic chants, classical music, yoga and rituals that honor nature and bring peace within.

Guided by the mantra Mitrō Agnih (friendship and goodwill), Subah-e-Banaras is more than a program; it is a collective celebration of spirituality, culture, yoga and knowledge for harmony and well-being.

— an early morning collective effort
is an early-morning collective initiative started on 24 November 2014. It was launched through an innovative and pious concept by Shri Pranjal Yadav (DM, Varanasi) and Dr. Ratnesh Verma (Chief, Regional Cultural Center, Varanasi), and further supported by Shri Vishak G (Chief Development Officer, Varanasi). They are recognized as the founding promoters of Subsequently a committee was formed to nurture and propagate its celestial moments for spiritual development. People from all walks of life joined hands to continue the early hours’ practice — to connect with the presence of the Almighty and the grandeur of Nature.
A humble tradition to celebrate dawn, devotion and the five elements of nature.
